Cream City Foundation appreciates the platform and opportunity to clarify misinformation regarding our foundation and its affiliation with the Milwaukee chapter of Drag Queen Story Hour. Cream City Foundation and the Milwaukee Drag Queen Story Hour entered into a purely transactional fiscal agency agreement in October of 2019. Since that agreement, Cream City Foundation has acted only as a nonprofit fiscal agent for the Milwaukee Drag Queen Story Hour branch. Cream City Foundation is not, and never has been, involved in DQSH’s management, staffing, fundraising, events, or board of director activities. Cream City Foundation is not, and never has been, the “head of” DQSH. Cream City Foundation has also never provided any grants or financial support to Milwaukee’s Drag Queen Story Hour.
