The Scholarship ProgramWhat happens after you submit your application?
When you submit your completed application, you will be sent an email confirming your application was received. If you do not receive an email your application has not been submitted. Make sure to review the application and read prompts carefully.

How do you define someone as a Southeastern Wisconsin resident?
To be eligible for our scholarships, you need to have graduated from a high school in Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington, or Waukesha County, or currently attend an accredited post-secondary school in one of those counties, be in a GED completion program in one of those counties, or have lived in one of these counties for at least one year prior to the application deadline.
Do your scholarships cover community colleges, trade schools, graduate or professional schools, certificate or non-degree programs?
Yes. Our scholarships cover nearly any accredited post-secondary school or program. Scholarships do not cover certificate or non-degree programs. If you have a question about a specific school or program, please contact us.
I am a straight ally. May I apply for scholarships?
Most of our scholarships are open to all persons regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. We believe that allies have a tremendous role to play in moving our society towards one of equality and understanding.
Do you have to be a certain age to apply?
Applicants must be 17 years of age or older to qualify.
I do not have a computer. Do you have suggestions for how I could complete the online application?
We suggest you first see if your school has computers that you could use. School or community libraries are also a good place to visit, as are community centers.
If I am awarded a scholarship, does the money come directly to me?
No. If you are awarded a scholarship, the check(s) will be made out to your school and credited to your student account.
I am awarded a scholarship; how can it be used?
You can apply your scholarship toward any of the following: tuition, student fees, on campus room and board, study abroad programs, book or course supplies, or research related expenses. Most fees that can be paid through the student’s account are acceptable.
