Cream City Foundation Launches its 2023 Scholarship Program
MILWAUKEE, WI – Cream City Foundation announces the launch of its 2023 Scholarship Program for the 2023-2024 academic school year for students of Southeastern Wisconsin.
Cream City Foundation’s (CCF) Scholarship Program is building on a successful relaunch in 2022 to further its impact to our LGBTQ+ communities in 2023. Via last year’s program, 11 scholarships of $2,500 each were awarded to local students. CCF’s goal for 2023 will be to meet or exceed last year’s impact in the current program.
“We are incredibly proud of the impact the scholarship program has had since its start in 2015. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, CCF has awarded over $150,000 to the future leaders of our community,” stated CCF President and Board Director, Charlie Nash.
We are proud to play a part in building the next generation of leaders” stated Committee Chair and CCF Board member Angie Harden. “Helping reduce the financial burden of higher education is a key enabler to unlock the potential and passion of future generations.”
LGBTQ+ identifying students who are residents of southeastern Wisconsin and are pursuing a post-secondary education are encouraged to apply. Students who are allies of the LGBTQ+ community are also encouraged to apply as allies play an important role in making spaces more accepting.
Applications are open through May 31th, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. To apply, visit https://creamcityfdn.org/scholarships/. CCF will announce scholarship recipients in late summer of 2023, and disburse funds to financial aid offices in August.
Individuals or organizations who may be interested in learning how to add their support to the scholarship program may contact Charlie Nash at charlie.nash@creamcityfdn.org or (414) 225-0244.
