Tuesday, November 30th, is Giving Tuesday, which is a global campaign that focuses on the idea of “radical generosity.” Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 to “encourage people to do good.” One way you can do good is by supporting Cream City Foundation (CCF).
This year, CCF is preparing a week-long campaign to help promote our scholarship program, and we need YOUR help!
For Giving Tuesday 2021, we ask our community to match the Board of Directors’ contribution of $6,500. In doing so, this will allow for CCF to continue mobilizing philanthropic resources, driving meaningful change for the LGBTQ+ communities of southeastern Wisconsin.
“Earlier this year, our Board of Directors collectively committed to donating over $6,500 towards the Cream City Foundation LGBTQ+ Scholarship program. This program began in 2016 and has already provided nearly $150,000 is scholarship support for students pursuing post-secondary education. From Medical Education, Psychology and Fine arts, the Cream City Foundation has provided for students who are members of our LGBTQ+ Family in Southeastern Wisconsin.” -DJ Quam, Interim President and CEO

“I hope you will consider joining the Board of Directors in our collective mission to support LGBTQ+ Students. Together, we can help support the Equity and Prosperity of students.” -Quam
We understand things have been different and challenging for the last year and a half, but we are still here. We have missed coming together as a community to support LGBTQ+ individuals in Wisconsin. Nonetheless, CCF is committed to our scholarship and grantmaking programs in 2022. The need for these programs is more important than ever.
“And as we approach the end of the Calendar year, I want to personally thank each of you for your continued support of the Cream City Foundation. We have had a turbulent year, but I am pleased to be able to continue the work that began nearly 40 years ago, with $500 and a dream to support the LGBTQ+ community in Wisconsin. I hope you’ll each consider supporting the mission of the Cream City Foundation in the coming months, especially as we close out the year.” -Quam
